Lic. Héctor E. Ramírez-Carbó

Héctor Ramírez-Carbó graduated Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus in 1994 with a major in Political Science. He subsequently obtained a Juris Doctor in 1997 with Magna Cum Laude Honors from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico School of Law and was admitted to the practice of law in Puerto Rico in January of 1998. Thereafter, he was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico on August 5, 1999.

Mr. Ramírez-Carbó began his law career as a Civil Trial Attorney for the Puerto Rico Department of Justice in 1998. Shortly thereafter, on August 17, 1998 he began working as a Civil Trial Attorney and Notary Public for Vivas & Vivas Law Offices in Ponce Puerto Rico. At Vivas & Vivas, he was involved in extensive civil litigation of state and federal general liability tort, medical malpractice lawsuits, and other matters involving contract, insurance, administrative law, among others. Mr. Ramírez-Carbó had the opportunity to work and organize litigation matters for individual clients, as well as corporate clients such as, McDonald’s Corporation, Triple-S Insurance, Mapfre Insurance, Banco Santander, and Simed. He remained at Vivas & Vivas Law Offices until December 31, 2008.
